Beth Elkhorn Division Shop was the main maintenance hub for the Elkhorn coal mining operations in Jenkins, Kentucky, originally built by Consolidation Coal and later operated by Bethlehem Steel’s Beth-Elkhorn Corporation. It housed essential facilities like the oil house, supply depot, and machine shop, supporting underground mine activity and heavy equipment servicing. The site remains a historic landmark offering a glimpse into mid‑20th‑century Appalachian coal industry infrastructure.
